Denise's voice brings the blunt, no-nonsense honesty of an OB/GYN who has spent years in the exam and delivery room for the most vulnerable, sacred moments of a woman's life. She's heard it all — the fear behind the fertility questions, the grief behind the miscarriages, the shame women carry when nobody ever told them the truth about how they're made — and she has zero patience for pretending it's just biology.
She’s spent her career in awe of the sheer power of the female body — built to create, to carry, to bring forth life — and she’s done letting that power be spoken of like something to hide. There’s nothing shameful about how women are made, only a design worth understanding and a Designer worth thanking. With a passion for “The True,” she takes what medicine actually knows and won’t let it stop there. Name the body accurately first, always — the truth was never meant to end at biology.
She's a wife and mother of six — five daughters and one thoroughly outnumbered son holding down the middle — and she brings the same directness home that she brings to the exam room. Ask her a hard question and she'll give you a straight answer, usually followed by a story from the exam or delivery room that'll make you laugh, wince, or both.
She wasn't always this convinced. For years she was Catholic the way a lot of people are — present, underinformed, indifferent, disinterested — and her practice didn't always follow what the Church actually taught. Somewhere along the way that changed, and she hasn't been able to unsee it since.
Daughter of God first, physician by training, mother always — and dead certain none of it was ever meant to be separate.
