The faces behind this mission
Blessed Are They is being launched on prayers by three moms and professionals who could not find the content they were looking for,so they are setting out to build it.
Denise Montagnino, DO, MPH
Obstetrician/Gynecologist · Co-founder
A board-certified OB/GYN, wife, and mother of six. Since completing residency in 2011 and entering practice in 2015, she has cared for women through every stage of reproductive life — adolescence, fertility, pregnancy, delivery, and beyond.
Tuzdy Currlin, MD
Pediatrician · Co-founder
A pediatrician with 10 years of clinical experience, wife, and mother of four. Dr. Tuzdy Currlin brings a deep respect for children, families, and the extraordinary work of growing up.
Kirsten King, MSW

She is a wife, mother of four, a creative that knows no bounds, and a fearless follower of the Holy Spirit who believes that some of the best work God does begins with a simple, “Yes, Lord. I'm in.”
What grounds us
the good
Every person is created by God, known and loved from the beginning, and made for a purpose no achievement can supply. The good life is not something earned through striving but received through knowing Him. We teach the body as a gift, never a problem to manage, so a child learns their own worth before the culture tries to assign it to them.
the true
Science and faith were never meant to be separate conversations. We name the body accurately — the anatomy, the cycles, the plain facts — and we do not stop there, because the truth about how we are made points to why we are made. Leave no room for confusion. Everyone deserves more than just the half of it.
the beautiful
Beauty is what the Good and the True look like when they are actually lived. Every person is called to a vocation — marriage, religious life, single life in service — and none of it is a consolation prize. When a person understands their body as a gift and knows the truth of how they are made, they are free to answer that call fully alive: not quietly, not apologetically, but with their whole self given away.
Building the Bridge
There is a significant lack of formal, comprehensive Catholic Reproductive Health Education accessible to schools, families, and parish communities. That gap has left many of us without a foundational understanding of how the human body functions, or of how Catholic teaching upholds the dignity of the human person and the meaning of human relationships.
The initiative is designed for Catholic schools, for parish communities, and — most critically — for the home, equipping parents as the primary educators of their children with resources that align home formation with school instruction and parish catechesis.
Our ultimate goal is lasting cultural renewal, by forming faithful disciples who understand, value, and live the Church’s teachings on the dignity of the human person, respect for human life, and the sacredness of human reproduction — beginning with how and why our bodies were made as they are.
